DESI ANGELO ALEMAN is a digital art director and designer based in Los Angeles. He is a voracious reader and studied literature at UCLA where he acquired his B.A. Due to his love of literature, education, and commitment to civic engagement, Desi has worked with many academic institutions such as CalArts, UCLA, Cal Poly SLO, and URBAN.

He is also a devoted patron of literary organizations, volunteering his services to the Department of English at UCLA, the LA County Library, and the Los Angeles Review of Books.

Throughout his diverse career, Desi has worked as a baker, carpenter, editor, firefighter, screenwriter, signmaker, and waiter. He is also a huge cinephile, enjoys tea a great deal, and (if need be) he is available for commissionable work.
